This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction connection and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze and incorporates a bronze wear ring. The pump is built with a cast iron casing and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve. A dry shaft design prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly uses a bearing frame equipped with greasable bearings.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 324T frame. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor meets premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and carries a PEI of 0.93.
