This close-coupled end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from circulating fluid. It incorporates a silicon-carbide seat half and EPT rubber within the mechanical seal. Designed for a 125 PSI operating pressure, the assembly includes a wear ring and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The 60 HP, premium efficiency, ODP motor operates at 3450 RPM and incorporates Aegis grounding, powered by 380-460V / 3PH electricity. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with an electro-mechanical bypass with a main disconnect and drive fusing at 5kA SCCR and holds an enclosure NEMA 1 / IP 21 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
