This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a replaceable slip-on bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components handles temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows service without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge assists in self-venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7.5 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor uses a 213 JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This equipment meets NEMA standards and the MG1-12.55 premium efficiency rating. The pump has a PEI value of 0.89.
