This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge ANSI class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design includes a slip-on shaft sleeve, flush seal line taps, and a top center line discharge. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation in temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without disconnecting the system piping.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP WEG motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor utilizes a 213 JM frame style with feet and meets NEMA standard requirements. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency ratings. The pump is designed for a 40°C ambient environment with a counter-clockwise rotation and has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.84.
