This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings and flush seal line taps. The suction port measures 5" and the discharge port measures 4".
This unit is driven by a 40 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 324T frame, operating at 1750 RPM. It utilizes a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium efficiency standard MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly uses a welded base with a drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupling.
