This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the pumped fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and integrated pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is built on a 256T motor frame and configured for a 230-460V/3PH/60Hz power supply with across-the-line starting. The system is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This model meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, features AEGIS shaft grounding, and has a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
