This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge, utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a replaceable slip-on bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump casing features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists in self-venting.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and drip cover. The motor uses a 254 JM frame with feet and is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power with across-the-line starting. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA standard requirements, including MG1-12.55 premium efficiency ratings. The unit operates in 40°C ambient temperatures with a CCW rotation. The unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
