This base-mounted end suction pump integrates a class 30 cast iron casing with integrally cast mounting feet and a center-line discharge for air venting. The unit utilizes a bronze impeller, which is dynamically balanced to ANSI Grade G6.3, coupled with a stainless steel shaft. This dry shaft design incorporates a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve that prevents fluid contact with the shaft, while a ceramic and EPT mechanical seal manages fluid containment. The construction includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The 15 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM, integrates Aegis grounding, and accepts 200-230V, 3PH power, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The "S" in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
