This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The design incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration to protect the pump shaft from contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with an operating temperature rating of 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design that allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump is configured with a 30 HP Baldor TEFC motor that operates at 3450 RPM on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply. The motor is built on a 286 JM frame with feet, meets NEMA standards for 40°C ambient temperatures, and utilizes across-the-line starting. It features premium efficiency that complies with MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is set for counter-clockwise rotation and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
