This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. This model is rated for a maximum fluid temperature of 250°F and operates in a counter-clockwise direction.
The unit operates at 3450 RPM using a 7-1/2 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor with a TEFC enclosure and NEMA 213 frame. It is powered by 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz electricity and supports across-the-line starting. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly is configured with a Woods coupler, a welded base with an integrated drip pan, and a coupler guard. This pump complies with EISA standards and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.89 with an HI energy rating of 11. It is rated for operation in a 40°C ambient environment.
