This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly utilizes a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter. A stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve is used, incorporating a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring and is designed for clean water applications.
The unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 324TS NEMA frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base equipped with a drip pan and features a Woods coupler and a coupler guard. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This equipment includes AEGIS shaft grounding and carries a PEI rating of 0.94.
