This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. Flush seal line taps are provided to allow for the installation of filtration to protect the seal assembly.
The pump is powered by a 40 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 324 T-frame, operating at 1750 RPM. The unit is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the included Woods coupler. The system operates in a 40°C ambient environment and maintains a PEI of 0.92.
