This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact between the pump shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists in self-venting.
The pump is powered by a 3 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets MG1-12.55 standards. This TEFC motor operates at 1150 RPM with a 230-460V/3PH power supply. The motor is configured with a 213 JM frame style including feet. The pump features across-the-line starting and operates at a 40°C ambient temperature rating. It adheres to NEMA standards and utilizes a counter-clockwise rotation.
