This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal is rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge ports for system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 254 T-frame. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard surrounding a Woods coupling. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding and greasable bearings. The pump assembly has a DOE PEI value of 0.87.
