This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with integrally cast mounting feet and a bronze impeller. The assembly integrates a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the stainless steel shaft, which is protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. Sealing is managed by a ceramic seat mechanical seal with EPT rubber components, rated for a maximum pressure of 125 PSI. Gauge ports are provided at the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring, while the centerline discharge configuration assists with positive air venting.
The 15 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 3450 RPM, incorporates Aegis grounding, and utilizes a 200-230V 3PH power supply, achieving a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The "S" in the series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
