This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 4" suction and 3" discharge. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and includes a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design, utilizing a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. For fluid sealing, it uses a mechanical seal consisting of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit is constructed with ANSI Class 125 flanges.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor. The motor is housed in a NEMA T-frame 213, configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings. This unit is configured for across the line starting and has a DOE PEI of 0.91.
