This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of NSF61 stainless steel, housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve that utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing provides pressure tappings on both suction and discharge connections and includes flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor T-frame motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and uses an across-the-line starting option. The motor is NEMA premium efficiency compliant per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded steel base that incorporates an integral drip pan and a standard coupler guard protecting the Woods coupler. This configuration has a DOE PEI of 0.88.
