This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for operation in clean water at temperatures up to 250°F. The design incorporates pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. It is mounted in a NEMA 213 T-frame and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly features a welded base with an integrated drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This configuration includes AEGIS shaft grounding and carries a PEI rating of 0.92. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperature.
