This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. This unit utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with the circulating fluid and includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP WEG TEFC motor in a 284TS NEMA frame. It is configured for 380V, 60Hz, 3PH electrical power and utilizes across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This system includes a welded base with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler for connection between the pump and the motor. The assembly is rated for a 50°F ambient temperature with a Pump Efficiency Index (PEI) of 0.9.
