This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 6-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing that incorporates a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact with circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump casing also includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, along with flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 215 T frame with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This model has a DOE PEI of 0.89.
