This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter housed in a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top centerline discharge simplifies piping layouts and facilitates self-venting.
This pump is configured with a 5 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a TEFC enclosure. It uses a JM style motor frame with feet and operates at 230-460/60/3PH. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55, featuring AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting configuration is across the line, and the unit is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment. This pump is configured for counter-clockwise rotation and has a PEI of 0.87.
