This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a dry shaft design that utilizes a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The unit is configured with a mechanical seal comprised of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for clean water applications at temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections, and the casing includes flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 254 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 200V/60Hz/3PH with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base that features an integral drip pan and a standard coupler guard protecting a Woods coupler. The pump has a PEI value of 0.94.
