This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter and a bronze wear ring. It uses a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve to prevent contact between the fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for clean water up to 300°F. The casing features integrated pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 213T frame. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It utilizes a Woods flexible coupler and greasable bearings. This model includes AEGIS shaft grounding and carries a DOE PEI of 0.91.
