This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The design incorporates a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration to prevent system fluid contact with the pump shaft. The mechanical seal features a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design for maintenance. The nominal impeller diameter is 7-1/4".
The pump operates at 1750 RPM with a 5 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure without a drip cover. The motor is configured for 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. It is housed in a 184JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly meets NEMA standards, operates in 40°C ambient conditions, and maintains a PEI of 0.91. The motor complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements.
