This end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with integrally cast mounting feet and a bronze impeller. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design that uses a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to isolate circulating fluid from internal shaft components. A ceramic and EPT mechanical seal manages fluid containment at the shaft interface. This configuration provides a pressure capacity of 125 PSI without a wear ring.
The motor operates at 60 HP, utilizes a Premium Efficiency design, is housed in a TEFC enclosure, runs at 1750 RPM with Aegis Grounding, and functions on a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
