This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed from stainless steel housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The assembly utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump design includes a rear pullout configuration for service, flush seal line taps for particle filtration, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and utilizes an Across the Line starting option. The motor is mounted in a 215 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements for 40°C ambient conditions. The pump rotation is CCW.
