This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, supporting operating temperatures up to 225 °F. It features flush seal line taps for particle filtration and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design permits service without removing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists with piping layouts.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor ODP motor. The motor is configured with a JM style frame with feet and meets Premium Efficiency standards according to MG1-12.55. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. The electrical power requirement is 230-460V/3PH/60Hz. The assembly operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature and carries a PEI rating of 0.92.
