This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 286TS frame. The power requirement is 230-460/60/3 with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded steel base that features an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and greasable bearings. The unit has a DOE PEI of 0.93 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature with CCW rotation.
