This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter, a cast iron casing, and a bronze impeller. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a rear pull-out construction that allows for servicing without disturbing system piping. A dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit is equipped with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is configured with a 25 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a TEFC enclosure. It operates on 380/60/3 power with an across-the-line starting option and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor uses a 284 JM frame with feet and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55. The pump is configured for CCW rotation and has a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
