This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is configured with an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber components, rated for operation at temperatures up to 225 °F. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft, and the unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding.
The assembly includes a 15 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 254 T-frame, operating at 1750 RPM. Power requirements are 230-460/60/3, with a standard across-the-line starting configuration. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and features an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and a Woods coupler.
