This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11-1/4" bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor T-frame motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 215 frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 PH, with an across-the-line starting option. The motor connects to the pump through a Woods coupler, which is enclosed by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The assembly is mounted on a welded base featuring an integral drip pan and greasable bearings. This unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.95.
