This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 6" suction and 5" discharge ports using ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft, and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The bearing frame utilizes sealed-for-life ball bearings and includes flush seal line taps plus pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP WEG TEFC motor in a 256 T frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The unit includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. It is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler. The assembly is set for CCW rotation and 40°C ambient operating conditions, with across-the-line starting.
