This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the pumped fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and the unit includes a flush seal line tap.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a 213 T frame and requires 200V, 3PH, 60Hz power with across-the-line starting. It meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a PEI value of 0.94. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The system is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature.
