This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction port and an 8" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 150 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 445 T-frame. It is configured for 460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and includes an AEGIS SGR, an insulated bearing on the non-drive end, and greasable bearings. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and a standard Woods coupler guard. The equipment achieves a DOE PEI of 0.94 and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation.
