This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents the shaft from contacting system fluids and includes a slip-on shaft sleeve for seal maintenance. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components handles fluids up to 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting the system piping, and the top centerline discharge configuration assists with venting.
The pump is driven by a 2 HP Baldor ODP motor with an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The assembly is configured with a 145 JM motor frame with feet and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The motor meets NEMA standards and complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. This pump includes a drip cover and has a DOE PEI of 0.86. The motor utilizes standard across-the-line starting and CCW rotation.
