This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal impeller constructed of bronze and a cast iron casing. It uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The pump incorporates a rear pullout design and a top center line discharge to simplify piping. A dry shaft design prevents contact with system fluid, and flush seal line taps are provided for the installation of a filter to protect the seal from particles.
The pump is configured with a 30 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor that meets MG1-12.55 standards. It operates at 1750 RPM on 230/460V/60Hz/3PH power. The motor features a TEFC enclosure, a 286 JM frame with feet, and CCW rotation. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and adheres to NEMA standards. This equipment has a DOE PEI value of 0.92 and uses an across-the-line starting option.
