This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for operation at 250°F in clean water systems. The pump assembly does not include a wear ring and features pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 15 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 254 T frame. This motor operates on 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The bearing frame features greasable bearings, and the unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is configured for across-the-line starting and has a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
