This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It is configured with a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The seal is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing is equipped with pressure tappings for both suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP, 200V, 60Hz, 3PH Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is mounted in a NEMA 213 T-frame and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly connects to the motor using a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard, all mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan. The system meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.88.
