This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The internal design supports liquid temperatures up to 250°F and utilizes a dry shaft configuration to prevent fluid contact with the shaft.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor in a 324TS NEMA frame with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler. The assembly features greasable bearings, is rated for a 40°C ambient environment, and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
