This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both suction and discharge connections, and the design allows for service without disturbing the system piping.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 286 T frame. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. It meets premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and features a Woods coupler with an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The unit has a PEI value of 0.97.
