This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation in clean water at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing is equipped with pressure tappings for monitoring suction and discharge conditions.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM using a 10 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 215 T-frame. The motor is an ODP, premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The power supply is 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz, with an across the line starting option and a 40°C ambient rating. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This configuration maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
