This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft sleeve. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber is included, supporting operating temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design permits servicing without removing system piping, and the top centerline discharge simplifies installation and reduces piping strain.
This pump is configured with a 5 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor in a 184 JM frame with feet. The motor is a TEFC enclosure and operates at 1750 RPM on 230-460/60/3PH power. It meets MG1-12.55 standards and has a PEI of 0.83. The unit utilizes across the line starting and has an ambient temperature rating of 40°C. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections, and the assembly includes flush seal line taps for filter installation.
