This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and Viton rubber, capable of handling clean water up to 300 °F. The unit is equipped with greasable bearings and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 182T frame. The motor features an ODP enclosure, operates on a 230-460/60/3 power supply, and utilizes across-the-line starting. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A standard Woods flexible coupler connects the pump to the motor. This configuration maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
