This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection, both utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal containing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided at both suction and discharge connections for monitoring system performance.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor ODP motor in a 286 T-frame. The motor is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and uses an across the line starting method. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It features a Woods coupler and greasable bearings. This unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 with a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
