This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a rear pullout design with a top center line discharge to simplify piping layouts and maintenance. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from system fluids. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The unit connects using ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring.
The pump uses a 1 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a 145 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1150 RPM and is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line, and the system is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature.
