This base-mounted end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller to facilitate fluid movement. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to maintain mechanical integrity during operation. This unit integrates a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber components to prevent leakage. Engineered with a dry shaft design, the pump construction limits fluid contact with the shaft and provides a pressure rating of 125 PSI without the use of a wear ring.
The motor operates at 25 HP, premium efficiency, TEFC enclosure, 1750 RPM, with Aegis grounding, and receives power via 380-460V, 3PH. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
