This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve and utilizes a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. This model does not include a wear ring and provides gauge ports for both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is a NEMA T Frame 145, configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. It meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The pump operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.91.
