This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller equipped with a bronze wear ring. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It is configured with a mechanical seal utilizing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F.
The unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is housed in a NEMA 184 T-frame and requires a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply. The assembly features across the line starting, premium efficiency ratings meeting MG1-12.55, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupling with an OSHA-compliant guard. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings, and the unit maintains a DOE PEI of 0.94.
