This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The internal mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for operation in clean water at temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing design includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is a NEMA T-frame 213 model configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. It meets premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is secured to a welded base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler and a standard coupler guard. The pump has a PEI of 0.91.
