This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 4" suction and 3" discharge connection, configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is constructed without a wear ring and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
The pump is driven by a 75 HP, 3450 RPM WEG motor in a NEMA 364TS frame with an ODP enclosure. It operates on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperature and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This configuration includes AEGIS shaft grounding and has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
